Controller - Real Estate

• Oversee all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with property managers to support financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for various properties.
• Work directly with the president of the management company and ownership group, offering financial insights and strategic recommendations.
• Manage daily operational accounting ensuring accurate financial transaction records.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and control.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning, offering variance analysis and recommendations.
• Manage cash flow.
• Reconcile bank accounts, analyze accounts, and prepare/post journal entries
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely audits and tax filings.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA Required.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, ideally within property management.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proven leadership skills, with experience managing offshore teams a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of working with diverse stakeholders.
• High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive information.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
