Junior Estimator

• Interpret highway plans and specifications and execute quantity take offs.
• Input quantities and formulas into excel spreadsheets
• Interact and communicate directly with individuals at all levels of the organization, and also with contractors, government agencies and job inspectors.
• Formulating scheduling and work progress reports.
• Prepare cost analysis for each project.
• Frequent job site visits are required to deliver bids, review field Client out and measure for the job.
• May requisition pricing for supplies and materials to complete project.
• Reviews estimates and revisions for completeness and accuracy.

• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and multi- task.
• Excellent math and computer skills are a must.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction related degree along with at least 3 years of post-grad estimating experience in Heavy Highway Construction.
