Position Title: Supervisor of Accounts Receivable and Payable

Location: Buford, GA

Department: Finance / Accounting

Reports To: Director of Finance

Status: Full-time, Salary Exempt

Position Description: The Supervisor of Accounts Receivable and Payable will support the Director of Finance in executing the responsibilities of the Finance and Accounting Department. This role entails overseeing the Accounts Receivable and Payable team to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Operations:

   • Assist with daily, month-end, and year-end operations of the Finance and Accounting Department.
   • Take a leading role in year-end and other audit activities.
   • Review transactions to ensure proper General Ledger (GL) account booking.
   • Supervise the Accounts Receivable and Payable team, ensuring all tasks are effectively managed.

2. Asset Management:

   • Maintain Fixed Asset and Depreciation schedules.
   • Facilitate tax reporting and payments with assistance from our CPA firm.

3. Regulatory Compliance:

   • Maintain business licenses and other government registrations.
   • Complete government censuses and surveys as needed.

4. Financial Reconciliation:

   • Prepare general ledger account reconciliations.
   • Perform period closing journal entries and processes.

5. Administrative Tasks:

   • Perform other accounting, financial, and administrative tasks as required.
   • Execute other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance.
