Commercial HVAC Estimator - Training!

Commercial HVAC Estimator position open in Greenville, SC, for an experienced HVAC commerical professional, OR a Mechanical Engineering looking for a detailed job, OR an estimator in mechnical contracting. In this role, you will work with project managers, vendors, foremen and develop full project estimates on commercial HVAC projects (labor, materials, time, costs, equipment and repairs). You'll learn cool estimating software (Procore) and detailed estimating skills. TRAINING PROVIDED!

Responsibilities:

• Identify/propose/bid on construction projects in both commerical sector.
• Analyze blueprints and specifications to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for construction projects
• Consult with clients, vendors, project managers or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues relative to project cost
• Confer with engineers, architects, owners, general contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to project scope and cost
• Prepare spreadsheet for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors
• Review material and labor requirements, to decide whether it is more cost-effective to fabricate or purchase items that can be made in-house
• Conduct post project meetings with project managers for acquisition of cost data
• Track cost of production of sheet metal shop against stated goals, establish trends and act to be cost effective in production
