We are looking for a Facilities Manager to oversee and optimize our physical workspace. Job Description

The Facilities Manager at Elve is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our facilities, ensuring a safe and well-maintained work environment. This role will involve managing and coordinating maintenance, repairs, renovations, and construction projects. You will work closely with the operations team to support production and manufacturing activities by ensuring proper building systems, cleanliness, and compliance with regulations. As a Facilities Manager, you will also be responsible for managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and managing budgets related to facility operations. This is a full-time salaried position.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of a Facilities Manager may include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee facility maintenance and repairs, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems
• Coordinate preventative maintenance programs
• Manage facility security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and alarms
• Manage cleaning and janitorial services
• Coordinate office moves and space planning
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and inspections
• Manage relationships with vendors and contractors
• Develop and maintain facility operating procedures and guidelines
• Manage facility-related budgets and expenses

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or similar role
• Knowledge of building systems and maintenance
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in facilities management
• Experience in managing facility-related budgets and expenses

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification in facilities management (e.g., CFM)
• Experience in a manufacturing or high-tech environment
• Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations
• Experience with project management software
