ABOUT THE FLOCK
This role is pivotal in ensuring our office and lab operations run smoothly, with responsibilities spanning visitor management, vendor coordination, mail handling, event support, lab operations support, and project assistance.
HOW YOU’LL FLY
You'll help to bring more patients their bluebird days by:
- Visitor Management:
- Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
- Manage the visitor check-in and check-out process, including issuing visitor badges.
- Maintain visitor logs and ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Vendor Management:
- Coordinate with vendors for office and lab supplies, ensuring timely deliveries and services.
- Maintain vendor relationships and resolve any issues related to vendor performance.
- Oversee vendor contracts and renewals, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Visitor and Vendor Management Systems:
- Operate and maintain visitor and vendor management systems.
- Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping for all visitors and vendors.
- Train employees on the use of these systems as needed.
- Receiving and Coordinating Mail:
- Sort, distribute, and manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of mail to appropriate recipients.
- Maintain an organized mailroom and manage mailing supplies.
- On-site Event Support:
- Assist in planning and organizing company events.
- Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth execution.
- Lab Operations Support:
- Support lab operations by facilitating communication and coordination between the lab and office services.
- Project Support:
- Assist with various facilities and office services projects as needed.
- Provide administrative support for project planning, execution, and documentation.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure project goals are met
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
You’re the bird we’re looking for if you have:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in facilities coordination, office administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to lift and move packages
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with biotech industry standards and practices is a plus.
- Experience with visitor and vendor management systems is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay for this role is $32 hourly. Your base pay will be determined based on several factors including market data, demonstrated skills, relevant education or training, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and travel requirements.
