• Speech Therapist
• Pay Rate: $55.00 - $60.00
• Full time, Part Time & per diem, available!

Job Summary:
Speech therapist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, communication, and related disorders in an educational setting. They work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students, ensuring that they can effectively participate in classroom activities and achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and students' specific needs.
Therapeutic Interventions: Provide speech and language therapy to students, both in group and one-on-one settings.
Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and monitor students' progress to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to integrate speech therapy goals into the overall educational plan.
Parent and Teacher Education: Educate parents and teachers about speech and language disorders and strategies to support students in the classroom and at home.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• State licensure and certification as a speech-language pathologist.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy and patience in working with students with diverse needs.
• Knowledge of assessment tools, therapy techniques, and assistive technology.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, parents, and other professionals.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
