Title: Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Atlantis, FL 33462
Duration: Full time/ Direct Hire / Permanent Position
Available Shift: Day/ 5x8's
Salary Range: $32 $48/ hour
Rotating Weekends

Job Description:

• The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, development, implementation, and revision of treatment programs as necessary.
• You will coordinate patient care assignments to ensure continuity of care and maximum utilization of clinical/licensed supportive personnel.
• You will keep accurate records of the patient's treatment, reactions and assessment of progress.
• The patient population is comprised of all ages, with whom you will be able to provide age-specific direct care services.
• You will demonstrate effective resource utilization, which is critical to operational stability within the organization.

Essential Functions:

• You will participate in performance improvement and program growth.
• You will participate in clinical programs and interdepartmental activities within the organization.
• You will also function as a clinical instructor in the student affiliation program.
• You will participate in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety, and fire safety programs.

Education:

• 4 year Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Experience:

• 3 5 years of experience; will consider graduate externs or individuals seeking CFY.

Certifications & Licenses:

• BLS AHA
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) of the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
• Florida state licensure or eligible for placement in a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Covid Vaccination Card
