- We are seeking a Registered Nurse(RN) to join our team, we are also hiring Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN) and 1:1 Certified Nurse Assistant(CNA); no prior experience is necessary.. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with school-aged children and families in our award-winning school district. The ideal candidate will be working within a "unified" school district and will be committed to ensuring that our students receive the highest quality education.
OPEN ROLES:
- School Registered Nurse, 1:1 Licensed Practical Nurse, 1:1 Certified Nurse Assistant
- Full time, part time, per diem, and split shifts available!
LOCATIONS:
- Nassau County- multiple locations! (Hempstead, Lawrence, East Rockaway, Far Rockaway, Freeport, E. Meadow, Great Neck, Hicksville, Levittown, Nassau Boces, Sewanhaka, Valley Stream, etc...)
- Suffolk County- multiple locations!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS A SCHOOL NURSE:
- Working 1:1 with students with disabilities
- Nurse office coverage as needed
- Monitoring and recording evidence of student's learning and progress
- Assistance with medication administration
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current NYS RN license, NYS LPN license, NYS CNA license
- Up to date CPR card
- Fingerprinting
- Up-to-date medical documentation (i.e. physical, titers, quantiFERON)
