School Nurse: RN

OPEN ROLES:

• School Registered Nurse (RN) - Full time & part time available
• No prior experience required!

LOCATIONS:
Middle Island, NY & Surrounding dstricts

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS A SCHOOL NURSE:

• Working 1:1 with students who have developmental disabilities
• Assisting student with individualized, school related tasks
• Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEP)
• Monitoring and recording evidence of student's learning and progress
• Supporting student with emotional or behavioral concerns and assist them in developing social skills
• Assistance with personal care and hygiene
• Maintain confidentiality of information
• Assistance with medication administration

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Updated resume
• Current NYS RN license
• Up-to-date BLS or ACLS
• Fingerprinting: mandatory by the New York State Department of Education
• Up-to-date medical documentation
