Managed Service Provider seeks a skilled and motivated IT Systems Administrator. Job duties include overseeing the daily operations of network infrastructures consisting of VMware-branded virtual servers, user workstations, and a Citrix environment, delivering a modern Microsoft Windows experience and associated applications.

This opportunity offers daily interactions with a broad spectrum of prevailing industry technologies and the benefit of expanding knowledge and skills through exposure to emerging technology. Candidate requires exceptional troubleshooting skills, proficiency in learning new things, good time management abilities, and yield success when working independently.

What You Need to Have

Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of applied IT experience
Professional appearance and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with end-users both remotely and in person.
Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office and 365
Strong understanding of Networking (routing, switching, VLANs)
Strong understanding of Virtualization
Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory
Application Support Experience: Teams, Zoom, Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Basic Hardware Experience: Network Printing, Scanning, Web Cam, Bluetooth
Task/Project planning & management
Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.

Experience with VMware ESXi / vCenter
Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktop, Microsoft Remote Desktop
Experience with SonicWall, Cisco, and Aruba associated networking products.
Experience with Veeam
Experience working within a service ticket environment.
Experience with RMM solutions
Experience with VoIP phone concepts

What You'll Be Doing

Assisting with the resolution of level 2 and level 3 support issues
Provide technical insight and direction to clients as needed.
Maintaining and Monitoring VMware ESXi hosts
Maintaining and Monitoring Windows Server environments
Administration within the realm of Office 365, Azure/AD (Entra ID)
Administration associated with user onboarding and offboarding.
Interactions with Citrix management tools
Deploying and maintaining RMM utility
Assisting in projects related to network administration and upgrades.
Maintaining and upgrading backup infrastructure
