Our client, a top health services provider in South Jersey, is looking for a
Firewall EngineerThis is a full-time position,
working remote with some in-office visits required for meetings.- Responsibilities:
- Design and implement firewall policies to secure the organization's network
- Configure and manage firewalls, including next-gen firewalls and NAC systems
- Design, maintain, update, and document VPN connectivity
- Monitor firewall logs and alerts to identify and resolve security incidents
- Provide technical support to other teams and troubleshoot firewall-related issues
- Develop and maintain firewall documentation
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Network Security (Or Firewall) engineer
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, such as Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and Fortinet
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- CCNP and/or CompTIA Security+ preferred
