Job Description
The Solution Architect role applies vast experience of system architecture, business architecture and data architecture with knowledge of infrastructure domains, latest technologies to support key IT initiatives. The candidate must apply their knowledge of IT best practices appropriately to define IT solutions. The individual must possess the ability to analyze solutions and technologies and provide solution architecture for organization's current and future needs. The candidate would have to support business architecture needs of the portfolio by working with business partners.
The candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to: reviewing business and technical requirements, focusing on solution development throughout the project lifecycle, supporting development, evangelizing best practices and proven patterns, and escalating architecture issues and concerns. The candidate will promote the use of Corporate IT standards, and will create architectures and designs, and will develop target state architectures.
Required Qualifications:
• Hands on application solution design experience in AWS using AWS native services
• Data Analytics solutioning experience in AWS cloud using AWS native services (EMR, Redshift, Athena etc.), Apache Spark framework and using Python, or R.
• SaaS/COTS solutions capabilities analysis and recommend integration architecture
• Provide security architecture for applications and SaaS solutions
• Provide solutions based on Enterprise Integration patterns, Event Driven Architecture, API, Web services, SOA and Micro Services
• Good understanding of Enterprise data containers including TDS, ODS, Data warehouse, DataMart and Enterprise Data Lake
• Exposure to relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server or Netezza & hands-on development using Java or Python
• Experience with application servers and containers such as JBoss, Tomcat, WebLogic
• Exposure to architecting application resiliency & performance optimization
• Significant experience delivering business architecture in increments to support agile teams
• Strong process flow mapping, design and graphical experience required
• Excellent communication, presentation, and architecture documentation skills
• Professional demeanor
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 6-8 years of related experience
• AWS Solution Architect Associate or Professional certification and with hands on experience
• Experience with ARIS or Hopex or some other Enterprise Process Repository
Preferred Qualifications:
• Mortgage Industry knowledge experience
• Experience with ServiceNow platform, modules, CSDM and integration architecture
• Good understanding of Advanced Analytics, Data Science and Client
• TOGAF Certification or a good understanding of TOGAF or other EA frameworks
