Job Title: IT Systems Engineer
Job Location: Atlanta, GA 30309
Workplace Type: Hybrid
Workplace Schedule: 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday; on-site multiple days per week (occasional weekends may be required)

Serves as a subject matter expert for multiple deep-level, end user facing systems and services. Acts as a 2nd level point of contact for end-users to receive support and maintenance within the Bank's end user computing environment. Provide user support, technical issue resolution, and end user device engineering and thought leadership. Maintains a high quality of service for end users to ensure their support needs are met and satisfied in a timely fashion.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field with six to eight years of senior IT professional experience is preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and training.
M365 Administration experience
VDI/VMWare Horizon implementations experience
Liquidware experience is desired
Experience with Azure admin console and VDI integration

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, implement, and maintain Desktop Infrastructure systems, including Virtual Desktop configuration, Thin Client software and firmware configuration, Windows desktop configuration and management.
Perform administrator and configuration functions within Microsoft Endpoint Management Suite, M365, and other enterprise-wide desktop end-use applications and cloud-based systems.
Evaluate new and emerging desktop/laptop and other user-facing product technologies to enhance end user experience.
Perform analysis, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex end user technology issues and situations.
Work with vendors, software, and service providers to determine resolution and mitigation related to adverse end user conditions.
Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user hardware and software in order to deliver required service levels.
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), policies, end-user training material, and technical and end user knowledgebase.
Enter and track support tickets in the ITSM system. Monitor ticket queues for incoming tickets, assigning, and prioritizing tickets as required.
Develop and update physical and virtual desktop images, including upgrades, security patching, and configuration and testing necessary to ensure environment works effectively and efficiently.
Examine and remediate non-compliant security issues found across end user devices and/or company systems.
Assist in the planning and testing of the disaster recovery business continuity process for the Bank.
Create, monitor, and disseminate dashboard reports as needed for statistics, auditing, and other business purposes.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to manage multiple processes, priorities, and demands to successfully meet end user satisfaction.
Demonstrate advanced technical experience with end user hardware and software support environments.
Ability to conduct research into issues and products, as required.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
Ability to write reports, memos, and system detail analysis documentation to both end user and executive audiences.
Ability to work under pressure of deadlines and perform accordingly.
Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Ability to work independently, with other team members or departments (project teams, information security, infrastructure engineers).
Possess strong customer service skills and telephone etiquette.
Ability to use and administer tools such as Remote Support (Beyond Trust), Software Deployment (Altiris), Desktop Imaging (SmartDeploy), Desktop Patching (Ivanti Patch Mgmt), Asset Tracking (Ivanti ISM), Thin Client Management (iGEL UMS), ITSM Ticketing System (Cherwell), Virtual Platforms (vSphere), VDI Management (VMWare Horizon), Enterprise Mobility Management EMM/MDM (Blackberry UEM), Online Collaboration (Microsoft M365), and Group Policy Management (GPO).
