Alaant Workforce Solutions is partnering with a growing company to fill its Marketing and Production Manager role! **This is a full-time position for one of our clients.

Our client is looking for a professional to join the team, with a dual focus on marketing communications and the production of marketing and assessment materials.

Working collaboratively with other team members, you will plan and lead the Marketing outreach in the US.

You will be responsible for social media campaigns, source lists and creating email campaigns around new products, and developing the design and content of periodic newsletters to support company products.

Your production work will surround the development of product materials as well as booth graphics, marketing flyers/brochures, and PowerPoint presentations.

Additionally, you will suggest strategies to promote company products, both online and in-person. May also have an opportunity to work with global counterparts to plan marketing strategies and design communication materials!

Hours and Benefits for the Marketing and Production Manager- hybrid:
  • Must be local to the Chicago/Schaumburg, IL area OR the Newburyport, MA area.

Responsibilities for the Marketing and Production Manager- hybrid:
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns designed to increase market share and meet annual revenue and profit targets.
  • Campaigns should include email, social media outreach, conference exhibiting and advertisements.
  • Advertising opportunities for both assessments and books will need to be researched and implemented.
  • Design and produce appropriate product flyers.
  • Manage the design and production of new publishing projects, including design of manual covers and kit items (tags, record sheets, other items), liaising with print companies and other suppliers, and managing product quality control.
  • Manage product reprints as necessary, in collaboration with the publishing team, authors and suppliers.

Requirements for the Marketing and Production Manager- hybrid:
  • Bachelors' degree in marketing, publishing, design, or a related field.
  • Expertise using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign (a must!), Photoshop and Acrobat, as well as using email marketing software and management systems (e.g., DotDigital).
  • Experience with scheduling and posting for business social media accounts, including Facebook, LinkedIn, X and Instagram.
  • Strong organizational skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills with higher-than-average attention to detail and quality control.
  • Equally comfortable working as part of a team or independently.
  • Experience working in a psychological or publishing company a plus!
  • Our client requires employees to be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID, per CDC recommendations.
