This position is fully remote. E78 Partners provides comprehensive solutions to help finance, technology, and private equity leaders accelerate value creation in their firms and portfolio companies. Our solutions support the office of the CFO and CIO on both the management and sponsorship level. Our team of over 400 people solve the problems C-level executives face every day to create value for their organizations.
Overview:
- Plan and execute one or more of the Finance Accounts Receivable workstreams in support of the North American Go to Market Platform Transformation: Billing, Trade Funds Management, Credit/Collections, and Cash Application.
- Provide project leadership with limited support from other workstream leaders.
- Providing project management support for adding additional functionality to an ERP implementation.
- Work with project stakeholders who will assist in the planning and execution of this effort.
- Weekly reporting to management on the overall status of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Leads and directs projects with require cross-functional resources, vendor resources, outsourcing partners, integration and interaction with key business users and project sponsors.
- Manage Accounts Receivable system replacement projects within an ERP implementation.
- Develop relationships within the workstream to gain the trust of key business stakeholders.
- Presents project status, issues to senior level personnel, and prepares formal presentations and dashboards using metric data for executive level personnel.
- Acts as a trailblazer to drive the requirements, design and implementation process.
- Conducts regular meetings with senior management to review status of projects including technical, schedule and financial issues that may be present.
- Manage project from original concept through final implementation (initiate, plan, execute, control, close) - interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, and vendors.
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
- Responsible for assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources as needed, and developing a schedule to ensure timely completion of the project.
- Manages financial aspects of the project against assigned budgets.
- Manages the scope, risks, issues, deliverables, and schedule of individual project tasks, resolving or escalating issues as needed.
- Monitors team dynamics and team accountability related to delivery commitments.
- Establishes and enforces the use of the project's Change Control process.
- Establishes and enforces the use of the project's Communication Plan
- Continuously improves project management toolkits and methodologies.
Education / Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in a quantitative or business discipline, Master’s degree preferred
- Project Management Institute certified Project Management Professional preferred
- Agile experience or certification
Professional Experience
- Process re-engineering within the Finance function.
- Experience sunsetting legacy ERP apps to Oracle Cloud.
- Large Client multi-billion client experience.
- Consumer goods industry experience.
- Desired with Manufacturing of Food Products.
- 10+ years IT experience.
- 10+ Accounts Receivable functional/ Project related experience.
- 10+ years Project Management experience in technology, applications, or operations
- Knowledge and understanding of IT architectures and business processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication (English).
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
- Experience working in a distributed IT environment.
- Experience managing external vendor relationships.
- Experience managing outsourced vendor partners.
- Proficient with MS-Office, including Outlook, Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Bi-lingual Spanish / English is desired.
