A tax manager will be responsible for leading and managing multiple tax engagements to deliver quality service to our clients. This position offers excellent opportunities for leadership and career advancement to the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, trusts, corporations, partnerships and exempt organizations

• Build new and existing client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of clients' business

• Train staff on tax return preparation, research, and review their work

• Manage multiple clients, budgets and production goals

• Identify and assist with implementation of tax planning and consulting opportunities

• Research complex tax matters and communicate results

• Respond to IRS and other tax authorities

Required Experience/Skills:

• BS in Accounting required, Masters in Taxation is a plus

• CPA

• 6+ years prior tax experience in public accounting

• Significant supervisory experience (2 years plus)

• Experience reviewing federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and exempt organizations

• Multi state tax experience

• Foreign reporting experience

• Strong accounting and analytical skills

• Strong computer skills: proficiency in Tax software, Excel, Word

• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

• Detail oriented & ability to multi-task

Compensation: A base of $125,000-$175,000 per annum, plus bonus and benefits
