Assistant Project Manager

We are looking for talented Assistant Project Manager candidates to assist in the areas of construction management work including, but not limited to procurement and buy-out scheduling, document control, change management, and supervision. The successful candidate will work closely with our Project Manager and Supervisors. The Assistant Project Manager will establish and maintain effective and professional working relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, Sub-contractors, and Suppliers. Below are the qualifications we are looking for:

• Assist with the review and analysis of subcontractor proposals to determine low responsible bidder
• Assist with the preparation, and monitoring of subcontracts, contract purchase orders, agreement change orders, and change order requests
• Ensure preparation and implementation of project cost codes
• Review the subcontract pre-billing worksheets, pay estimate breakdowns and monthly progress payment request, and monitor payment receipts and disbursements
• Monitor and control change orders to subcontractors, including timely notification and adjustments to contracts
• Review submittal data for conformance with the project documents
• Manage the Request for Information process
• Assist with the development of, and regular updates to, the project schedule and
• Assist with project related meeting coordination, agenda preparation, and issuance of minutes
• Fundamental knowledge of computer operations and the following applications: Procore, Microsoft Project or P6 scheduler, Microsoft Office 360 Apps, and Bluebeam.
• Promote the growth and development of client, subcontractor, and Woodward relationships following the Woodward philosophy.
