Belt Splicer – (Relocation Assistance in U.S.)

• 40 hours a week plus overtime
• Some travel required
• $30-$32 an hour depending on experience

• Measure, cut, and prepare ends of conveyor belts for splicing
• Strip the ends of the belts to expose the internal layers, ensuring proper bonding can occur
• Join conveyor belt ends using either hot or cold splicing techniques, ensuring a strong and durable connection
• Apply heat and pressure to the spliced area, ensuring a robust bond
• Inspect and test every splice to ensure it meets company and industry standards
• Perform regular checks and maintenance on conveyor belts, identifying areas of wear and potential failure
• Efficiently repair any damages or wear to the conveyor belts to minimize downtime
• Maintain detailed records of all splicing and repair work
• Ensure all tasks are carried out in line with company and industry safety standards

• Proven experience as a conveyor belt splicer required
• Knowledge of both hot and cold spicing techniques
• Familiarity with vulcanizing equipment and processes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
