Project Manager

The primary responsibilities for this position encompass both Project Management and Business Analyst functions. The candidate will be responsible for managing aspects of the project plan as well as participating in various integration tasks. This includes, but is not limited to: scheduling as well as running project related calls, providing meeting summaries, other project management tasks, and ad hoc deliverables as required. Additional responsibilities include issue resolution, data analysis, as well as other ad-hoc analysis as necessary.

This role has been established to support the accelerated consumption of GENESIS (a data warehouse) to the Wholesale Optima Infrastructure. GENESIS provides an enterprise wide collection of contracts, positions and balances, which are anchored to financials. This provides benefits such as a single repository, data standardization, and systematic data collection which is linked to financials for integrity and completeness.

Additionally, GENESIS will afford consistent Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Treasury & Regulatory Reporting across all functions, while maintaining integrity and completeness as well as an auditable trail for customer contract data


Key responsibilities:
• Project Management/Scheduling
o Schedule and lead meetings
o Maintain project plan updates as well as coordinating with technology on updates on regular interim basis
o Responsible for related communications (including issue escalation)
o Ad hoc deliverables related to project plan
• Issues Tracking/Resolution
o Schedule and lead meetings
o Maintain tracking log
o Creation of metrics
o Assist in resolution and tracking of DQ issues
o Ad hoc deliverables related to issues (for example, creation of metrics and analysis)
• Ad hoc related projects and data analysis as required for the Program


Knowledge/ Experience:

• Understanding of financial and risk reporting as well as experience from the business and/or technical arena desired.
• Experienced in data analysis / data mining to solve business problems
• A proven track record of managing multiple priorities
• Experience with reporting to and engaging senior management
• Comfortable conceptualizing ideas and new approaches and able to communicate ideas effectively
• Experience delivering presentations Skills:

• Strong Project Management skills a must
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent people skills: ability to interact successfully with technical and function teams as well as senior management
• A high competency level with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access and Outlook

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years project/program management and business analyst experience strongly desired
