Qualifications:
Requirements: • Minimum of 6 months customer service related experience required • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required • Minimum of 6 months demonstrated knowledge and experience in a related functional area (Mailroom Operations and/or Copy) preferred • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment • Competency in performing multiple functional tasks • Ability to meet employer's attendance policy • Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills required • Ability Lifting up to 50 pounds or maximum allowed by current State Law with or without accommodations
Responsibilities:
• Prepare materials/outgoing mail/packages for mailing including: applying postage, preparing items for shipment or collection, distributing items as needed, ensuring items are properly labeled and documenting data according to management guidelines • Ensure that all mail and packages are properly labeled for mailing, with correct postage utilizing automatic postage meter machines • Verify and correct mail using available tools • Sort and process inbound intercompany mail • Receive, scan and input inbound accountable boxes and packages including certified, registered, return receipt, Federal Express and UPS for delivery to customers • Sort, deliver and pick-up mail and packages according to established time frames and service standards utilizing a mail pushcart • Maintain all logs and reporting documentation as required • Perform start-up and operations of postage equipment • Maintain shipping and receiving area as required • Provide quality reproduction of all materials submitted by customer, including binding, hole punching, stapling and non-technical maintenance of the copiers • Complete job tickets with minimum instructions • Schedule individual jobs and determine which equipment should be used based on size and complexity • Troubleshoot jams and perform normal key operator preventative maintenance on machines • Monitor usage of materials and supplies and order as necessary to maintain effective levels • Maintain records and logs of equipment usage and recommend technical direction • Keep accurate meter reads when required • Handle all document conversions (records) to include but not limited to; scanning, some data entry, attaching mail/documents, and quality control • Perform other duties as assigned * Complete large numbers of reprographics requests for black/white and color photocopies. * Operate production printers and copiers, including inputting job-processing settings and managing job queues. * Operate finishing equipment (3-hole drills, bindery, laminating, folder, cutter, etc.) according to job ticket instructions. * Check document quality before, during, and after each production job. * Load copiers with paper and toner as needed. * Troubleshoot basic equipment problems, placing service calls when needed. * Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information. * Train new employees on policies and procedures. * Communicate with manager and client on job or deadline issues.
