Experience : 5+ years in Mainframe/UC4/CA7
· • Understand and Support ZOS, Z processor, and Job Entry Systems(JES-2)
· • Understand and utilize commands for the IBM HMC (Hardware console)
· • Understand and Support Online Systems such as: CICS, DB2, MQ, and IMS
· • Understand and Support Host interactions with server infrastructure
· • Understand and Utilize CA7 and CA11 Scheduling Tools and applications
· • Understand and Support Mainframe monitoring and alerting tools (BMC preferred).
· • Understand and Support MVS and LPAR configurations
· • Understand and Support HMC systems and IPL processes.
· • Understand and capable of using all Command sets and utilities on the tools and systems above.
· • Understand and support global mirroring from a host operational standpoint.
· • Fix Abended Jobs - Investigate jobs that went down, calling when not able to fix. High for critical jobs, Low for non critical jobs

· • -Knowledge on Client Server interaction
· • -Knowledge on UC4 Workstations
· • -Knowledge on Inter system interaction (CA7 to UC4 ,vice versa )
· • -Knowledge on UC4 job plans schedules

· • -Knowledge on UC4 adhoc request handling
· • -Knowledge on UC4 scheduling areas
· • -UC4 agent restarts for Linux servers and Windows

· • Online CICS regions stop/start & recycling experience
· • Jobs monitoring on Omegamon
· • knowledge on Workload balancing for regions & jobs
· • Knowledge on Omview monitoring
· • Expertise on doing IPL's mainframe systems
· • Expertise on DR activity on mainframe systems
· • Expertise on other areas like replying WTOR messages,
· • Knowledge how to check contention through console
· • Knowledge on Spool utilization
· • Knowledge on CPU time monitoring
· • Knowledge/expertise on responding exception messages on Consoles
