This is a direct hire role. No contract or third party candidates please. You must we willing to work on site in the Fulton Industrial Blvd. area. The Director of Information Technology will be responsible for technology infrastructure, maintenance, efficiencies, and management of overall systems. The Director of IT will plan, coordinate, direct, and design all operational activities of the IT department, as well as provide direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations The Director of IT will work closely with decision makers in other departments to help identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for Liberty Furniture. This position is a management position and will manage both individual contributors and first-line managers.
Job Requirements - Assist in the companywide management of IT infrastructure that includes but is not limited to servers, desktops, laptops, networking, and phone systems.
- Participate in all projects that will require IT involvement and will coordinate appropriate resources internally and with vendors.
- Manage ERP application development teams
- Assist in the documentation of, and both clarify and execute IT procedures.
- Regularly audit the IT team's policies, procedures, and roles.
- Determine the needs of hardware and software support and provide assistance in determining configuration based on company, department, and individual needs.
- Provides technical as well as operational support to end users.
- Analyzes complex business needs and recommends technical solutions.
- Participates in hardware and software evaluations and helps maintain vendor contracts.
- Grow profit and manage expenses.
Job Qualifications Include - Proven experience in IT infrastructure strategic planning and development, project management, and system and application development.
- Good understanding and technical knowledge of current network and PC operating systems, hardware, protocols, and standards, including.
- Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management.
- Proven experience managing and mentoring technical teams and individual contributors.
- Demonstrates ability to apply IT in solving business problems.
- Experience with leadership of development teams especially ERP.
- Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products.
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
- Self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
