Primary responsibilities Summer Internship Program support: Work with the Associate Director of Programs support the application process for the summer program. This includes supporting program publicity via web and in-person recruitment, info sessions, organizing the internship selection committee, and communicating decisions to applicants and partners. Once selected, support approximately 60 student interns during the onboarding process, ensuring they meet all program requirements. Events & Communication: In collaboration with colleagues, organize public-facing in-person and virtual events, including the annual Global Health Symposium. Assist in identifying materials for publication and drafting public-facing documents. General Administration: Assist in document management, scheduling, correspondence drafting and management, and other administrative tasks to support the delivery of programs.
Qualifications: Experience in program administration required. Prior experience working with other Harvard departments strongly preferred. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills and sound judgment are necessary. The successful candidate will work well as part of a team but be individually motivated.
Skills: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with MailChimp, Canva, Asana, Qualtrics and/or WordPress a plus. •
