Commercial Insurance Analyst

Location: St. Petersburg, FL /Tampa, FL/Remote
Duration: 6 months with possible contract to hire/ with possible extension

Description:
Duties:
Processes requests for certificates of insurance, claims intake/processing
Assist with completing commercial lines applications and data collection for policy renewals, renewal planning/processing.
Provide outstanding service to advisors and business units requesting information about the corporate insurance coverages.
Take minutes for committee meetings
Prioritize competing demands to achieve business objectives
Investigates escalated issues through resolution.
Maintains the appropriate tracking documents and operating procedures.

Skills:
Must be proficient in using Excel- Creating spreadsheets, sorting and filtering data, some pivot tables, and formulas.
Must be proficient in PowerPoint including creating linked charts to Excel spreadsheets
Strong mathematical skills
Analytical and organizational skills

Education:
Minimum of Associate's Degree Required and a minimum of 3-5 years of commercial insurance experience
