As the Infrastructure and Platform Lead (f/d/m) at Temedica you will be leading impactful changes in Temedica's Infrastructure and Platform space by driving projects such as a cloud migration and the redesign of our monitoring system. You will influence a culture of innovation that provides an inclusive environment to make sure that diverse perspectives are heard and valued by providing mentorship and technical guidance to the team. You will be a key player in establishing practices that strive for operational excellence and strategically aligning DevOps processes with business goals.
Your Role with us
- You are a key driver in aligning DevOps practices with strategic business goals and sustainable growth by translating company OKRs into meaningful projects such as enhancing and optimizing our monitoring practices.
- You act as a mentor and guidance for the team by providing direction in technical and strategic decisions and nurturing a collaborative and high-performance culture to empower team members in the achievement of their goals.
- You foster a seamless Integration of DevOps and site reliability processes within the product teams by collaborating closely with cross-functional development teams to identify their needs and requirements as well as to ensure the reliability and scalability of our monitoring system.
- You ensure operational excellence by implementing best practices around incident- and risk-, change management to maintain high operational standards such as the introduction of SLOs, blameless post mortem culture and the measurement of reliability KPIs like MTTD and MTTR.
What you bring to the table
- You have a deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes), IaC (Terraform), CI/CD Solutions, Monitoring and Observability Ecosystem, and scripting languages like Python or Bash.
- You have 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering and have gained 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- You have a strong experience with SDLC methodologies, specifically with Scrum based Agile practices.
- You are a great problem solver with analytical skills and a demonstrated experience in dealing with incidents and troubleshooting to find the root cause of occurring issues.
