Tasks

• Lead a team of ML engineers and data scientists in developing our state of the art sports analytics ML models
• Maintain and set up CI/CD pipelines for our ML models
• Optimization of IT architecture and processes
• Contribute your innovative ideas and creativity

Requirements

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Masters or PhD Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or other related fields with a quantitative focus
• 3+ years of experience in working with cloud technologies, of which at least 2 years as a Cloud Architect
• Expertise in Cloud Architecture solutions on AWS and proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions
• Familiarity with standard ML tech-stack (numpy, scikit, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) and ML best practices for development and deployment
• Experience in setting up and maintaining ML CI/CD pipelines (MLOps)
• Experience with architecture documentation in ERD and UML
• Experience in leading a technical team in an agile environment
• Professional fluency in English language
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to achieve/provide relevant cloud certifications from AWS, GCP, or Azure in probation period

GOOD TO HAVE

• Professional fluency in German or demonstrable commitment to obtain professional German certification during probation
• we would prefer the candidate to live in Germany or to move to Germany
