Accounts Payable Manager - Construction
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review, code, and enter invoices
- Verify paperwork received from subcontractors to ensure compliance with Evans’ requirements before payment is released or validate online documentation via subcontractor portals (Textura and GC Pay) before authorizing payment
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors and sub-subcontractors to ensure timely payment on work completed
- Prepare checks and process remittance information for vendors
- Reconcile, research and correct discrepancies on vendor statements
- Deposit checks into bank accounts
- Post ACH and wire payments; notify appropriate project manager of funding
- Import and post subcontractor pay applications from GC Pay and Textura into Viewpoint
- Setup vendors and maintain remit addresses
- Perform general accounting duties as assigned by the Controller
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree including accounting coursework preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting experience; construction industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of Textura (Oracle), GC Pay and Vista by Viewpoint preferred
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Compensation Package:
- Base Salary: $55,000 to $65,000, based on experience
- Bonus, Health Insurance, Vision, Dental and 401(k)
