Healthcare Product Owner - 100% REMOTE

Healthcare Product Owner role open with a 100% remote schedule! This Product Owner position would oversee the application suite within a healthcare organization and improve the stakeholders' experience. Partnering with business users to understand their needs, the current software products limitations, and creating a roadmap of enhancements is the primary function of the Product Owner. Knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle and application development is essential for success in this role.

The Product Owner will manage the lifecycle of the current business software products, manage the backlog of enhancements, and suggest new product offerings when needed. Experience interfacing with 3rd-party software vendors is preferred! 

Responsibilities:

• Meet with business users and stakeholders to understand their needs and current product capabilities
• Forecast longevity of the product suite and build a roadmap for enhancements
• Work directly with software development teams and 3rd party vendors to communicate software development life cycle (SDLC) deadlines
• Manage the development initiatives on net-new software projects
• Ensure the delivery of product changes and manage the backlog
• Knowledge of the following software and concepts: PatientKeeper, Change Healthcare, InterSystems HealthShare, Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS), and enterprise healthcare revenue cycle
