Job Summary
The Global Modernization & Process Excellence Team is looking for a Senior Business Process Analyst. In this role, you will support business process improvement initiatives across the Tax teams by providing process analysis and management. You will validate current state processes, assess gaps and document future state business processes. You will model, design, and align processes with the organization's strategic goals, while supporting facilitation and implementation of standardized processes across global teams. Youll partner closely with the Finance Business owners, Regional Tax teams and financial analysts to support process improvement and requirements definition to ensure timely delivery of expected business outcomes and customer value. As a Business Process Analyst, you will report directly to the Manager, Business Process for Tax & Order to Cash.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Provide analysis and develop process diagrams using BPMN to document current and future state business processes to support process design or redesign
Conduct interviews and facilitate meetings with business stakeholders to derive and validate process models, gaps or proposed changes to business processes
Analyze and document dependencies between new and existing processes and identify opportunities for improvements
Support GPO and Finance Teams with business readiness activities and deliverables for process automation and improvement initiatives
Assist Business owners with identifying, articulating and analyzing requirements, to include defining acceptance criteria
Support cross-functional process improvement efforts and the implementation of operational controls for Tax
Serve as a change agent for transitioning business stakeholders and partners to new ways of working
Required Skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or Computer Information Systems; Tax / Finance concentration is preferred
7+ years experience working consultatively with business SMEs on process design, change and implementation
Curious and passionate about discovering how processes work
Solid understanding of Finance / Tax processes with experience documenting requirements
Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills; ability to prioritize competing requests
Experience working across multiple functional areas (Finance, Accounting, Tax and IT)
Strong technical and business communication skills, including presentations
Comfortable working in a global and multicultural environment
Working knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, SmartSheet and process documentation software, such as Lucidchart or Signavio
Business Analyst or Six Sigma certification a plus
Experience in supporting a Tax platform management system is a plus
