Communications Specialist

What you'll do: 

• Collaborate with the Communications team to develop innovative ideas and strategies for communications and marketing.
• Manage various projects and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment while ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Actively engage in and contribute to monthly worship sessions during All Staff.
• Work closely with ministries at Lakepointe to stay up to date and to effectively communicate vision.
• Maintain and update web content as needed (service times, event dates, copy, etc.).
• Assist with app updates and strategy.
• Contribute to weekly newsletter communication as needed.
• Respond to general inquiries and/or direct them to the appropriate ministry for follow-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience you’ve had:

• Proficiency with WordPress, Monday.com, and graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) preferred.
• Team player mentality with flexibility to adapt to various projects and needs.
• Knowledge of web-design best practices.
• Strong writing, grammar, and proofreading skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with strong project management skills; ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines. 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Passionate about simplifying processes.
