Our client, a national non-profit organization, is looking to add a Special Events Coordinator to their team in Cherry Hill, NJ.

Mostly Remote, only 2 to 3 days a month in office. Must attend 8-10 events a year.
OVERVIEW OF POSITION: The Special Events Coordinator will manage event
logistics across the organization for fund development, membership and volunteer
services, and outdoor services and product programs. This team Member
will work closely with select members of the event lead to ascertain individual event goal
and purpose and coordinate logistics.

- Attendee feedback on event operations
- Adheres to established budget for individual events
- Council expert on event related resources (such as venues, caterers, av support,
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Event Planning and Coordination of logistics fundraising and donor cultivation events and signature, volunteer and recruitment events
- Develop and maintain relationships with event vendors and manage vendor contracts (printers, event venues, caterers, etc.), in coordination with assigned management as needed.
- Work with Marketing Manager to establish a marketing and communications strategy around events and Campaigns.
- Ensure that event supporters are properly recognized and acknowledged in a timely manner.
- Attends planning meetings and communicates regularly with staff regarding external events
- Ensures timely processing and payment of vendor invoices
- On-the-ground point person for day of event logistic
Skills and Education Required:
- Associate's degree preferred but not required, preferably in public relations, hospitality or related field with experience in planning successful events
- Experience in similar position or performing similar duties
- Excellent attention to detail, highly organized and solid administrative skills
- Highly effective written and oral communication skills
- Technical computer skills in Google G Suite for documents, spreadsheets and presentations, customer relationship management systems, and socialnetworking.
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies with ability to understand basic data quality principles and practices.
- Able to function well under pressure and handle numerous tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
- Works independently, enjoys teamwork, process minded, and flexible.
- Resourceful and creative in finding alternatives and solutions to get the job done.

- Project management skills, experience and system
Work outside of the office 30% of the time
