Provides direct patient care to include assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patients. Administers prescribed medications, chemotherapy, and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and practice. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse. Previous hospital experience in area of specialty preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSES and CERTIFICATIONS
Licensed in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse. ONS Chemotherapy certification required. BLS required. ACLS required within six months of hire. CRNI or OCN certification preferred.
OTHER REQUIRED SPECIAL SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE
Demonstrates theoretical and clinical expertise and the application of knowledge thereof, in the assigned specialty. Good interpersonal communication and customer service skills. Basic computer skills required.
