Description:
Our client, a Human Capital Management company located in Ann Arbor, MI is in need of one SharePoint System Administrator/Developer for a 12 month contract. The SharePoint System Administrator/Developer will be supporting two SharePoint Farms one Collaboration Farm and one Enterprise Content Management Farm. The SharePoint System Administrator/Developer will be responsible for managing the overall server health and functionality as well as collaborating with the ECM team to build out specific UI's and workflows to support the internal business users. In addition, the SharePoint Administrator/Developer will be supporting various scenarios with the opportunity to create, manage and/or assist in developing customized components in a C#/.NET environment, custom UIs using the client's internal framework, ingestion modules, event handlers, jobs, reports and additional tasks related to the farm as needed for each internal business implementation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and check the overall server health & functionality
Monitor SharePoint disk space usage through built-in SharePoint reports for each site collection
Manage SharePoint permissions
Analyze & Report on SharePoint usage and activity
Move & copy sites
Support NLB (Network Load Balancing) needs & ensure its correct operation
Review, clean up, management & configuration of SharePoint accounts and sites
Monitor SharePoint trends
Check for operating system patches & updates
REQUIRED SKILLS:
5+ years' as a SharePoint System Administrator
3+ years' experience as a C#./NET Developer
2+ years' experience working as a SharePoint Developer
Knowledge of C#, ASP.Net, JQuery, Visual Basic.Net, SQL/T-SQL
Experience with AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, XML/XSLT, CSS
Experience with Web Services
Familiarity with SharePoint Document library operations and practices with focus on technical services and library systems administration
Knowledge of Custom Cloud APIs or SharePoint APIs
PowerShell scripting experience
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Experience leading requirements gathering for ECM solutions
Experience performing legacy migrations to SharePoint
