Senior Scent Design Manager Description
Our client in the fragrance industry is looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Senior Scent Design Manager to add to their team in Atlanta, Georgia. Reporting directly to the VP of Scent Design, you will support and guide the Perfumery, Sales, and Marketing departments with creative inspiration for fragrance development. The ideal candidate will have strong fragrance evaluation skills and proficiency using fragrance management software. Senior Scent Design Manager Responsibilities
• Review and interpret customer project briefs
• Make selections from the fragrance library based on customer/brand fit and market relevance
• Work with the Perfumery department on the creation and/or modification of fragrances
• Evaluate and analyze technical performance of fragrances
• Evaluate product results in various bases including emulsions, waxes, and hydro-alcoholics
• Maintain the evaluation and product testing database
• Become well-versed in all major customers, product lines, and fragrance preferences
• Ensure the required testing protocols are completed
• Complete domestic and international market study by category and odor type
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
• Create and present new concepts

• Work cross functionally to ensure client satisfaction
Senior Scent Design Manager Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree is required
• 5+ years of scent/fragrance design experience is required
• Strong olfactory memory of classic fragrance families is required
• Proficient in the use of fragrance management software is required
• Strong writing skills to present ideas and support fragrance submissions are required
