Our client is looking for a Chief Systems Engineer to add to their team in Oklahoma City, OK. 
This position will serve as the technical leader for a critical growth program, overseeing all systems integration, ensuring the technical integrity of the system, and acting as the primary technical interface for customers, prime contractors and end users. They will collaborate with other engineers to ensure practical design commonality and meeting specifications, while managing risks and processes. Our client is looking for a broad, complex thinker with a strong background in model-based systems engineering in DoD or defense contractor environments and who demonstrates strong technical leadership in managing complex technical projects. MBSE Chief Systems Engineer (10+ yrs MBSE in DoD + leadership exp. req.) Responsibilities

•    Oversee product development through all life cycle phases
•    Implement MBSE tools across the system lifecycle, from requirements to sustainment
•    Develop and maintain system models ensuring requirements traceability, verification, and validation
•    Lead cross-functional engineering teams, and collaborate to ensure seamless system integration
•    Lead design reviews (SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.) 
•    Mentor and develop technical leadership within the engineering team
•    Drive the adoption of innovative engineering best practices and continuous improvement 
•    Serve as the technical representative to major customers and stakeholders

MBSE Chief Systems Engineer (10+ yrs MBSE in DoD + leadership exp. req.) Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline required
•    10+ years’ model-based systems engineering in DoD or defense contractor setting experience required
•    10+ years’ systems engineering leadership, managing complex technical projects experience required
•    Experience working with various levels of customers and customer types required
•    Experience with technical product design & development experience required
•    Experience with configuration management and control required
•    Willing/able to travel up to 25% within the US is required
