Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Salary: $100,000  +  Benefits

Systems Engineer (5+ yrs MBSE + DoD projects exp. req.) Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to add to their team in Oklahoma City, OK, to support DoD projects. This position will contribute to the development, analysis, and integration of complex systems through the application of MBSE methodologies and requires hands-on experience with systems engineering tools and frameworks to support the architecture, design, and testing of defense systems. Our client is looking for someone with a strong background in model-based systems engineering and requirements management, with experience managing complex DoD projects or defense systems. Systems Engineer (5+ yrs MBSE + DoD projects exp. req.) Responsibilities

•    Apply MBSE processes for DoD projects; ensure alignment with requirements and lifecycle processes
•    Develop system models to support system architecture, design, integration, and verification
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and system functionality
•    Create and implement test plans to verify system's performance meets the specified requirements
•    Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system specs, design docs, and test plans
•    Analyze system performance, requirements traceability, and compliance using MBSE methodologies
•    Ensure all systems and processes are aligned with DoD regulations and standards 
•    Provide technical guidance in systems engineering, documentation, and configuration management
•    Participate in system design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and customer briefings

Systems Engineer (5+ yrs MBSE + DoD projects exp. req.) Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline required
•    5+ years of model-based systems engineering experience required
•    Experience with requirements management for DoD or government-related projects required
•    Familiarity with configuration management and control required
•    Proficiency with MBSE tools and familiarity with simulation and modeling tools required 
•    Willing/able to travel up to 25% within the US is required

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance (either currently active or ability to obtain and maintain); and therefore, must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
