Job Description: The candidate in this role will proactively support the administration of the Corporate Compliance Program by ensuring business transactions within all departments of our organization meet compliance requirements. As an Associate Compliance Analyst, your duties will include:
1. Triage and review compliance-related transactions from the procurement system. Create tickets for tracking and follow-up with employees on compliance requirements.
2. Monitor marketing calendar of activities and work with business teams to ensure applicable compliance requirements are met
3. Review compliance requests status and follow up with employees on outstanding compliance requests to ensure timely closure to meet timely and accurate reporting requirements
4. Maintain and update state-owned entities (SOE) database Reconcile company names between various sources and the SOE database. Add new company names to the database and notify employees of the new additions and applicable policy compliance requirements.
5. Assist with collecting all quarterly compliance certification letters from third parties. Ensure the letters are signed and submitted to Qualcomm within the required timeframe and follow up with employees on overdue letters as necessary
6. Review staffing-related transactions, including employee referral compliance review, temporary employee compliance review, and independent contractor compliance review. Create tickets for tracking and follow-up with employees and maintain accurate records.
7. Review compliance-related transactions from the QREF procurement system on a quarterly basis. Create tickets for tracking and follow-up with employees on compliance requirements.
8. Assist employees with general questions
9. Assist with ad-hoc projects as required
10. Update desk top procedures as required
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Experience in Corporate Legal, Compliance, or Accounting department with compliance or project management responsibilities
2. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (i.e., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), Word and PowerPoint
3. Meticulous attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with anti-corruption and FCPA compliance requirements
2. Experience with SharePoint, Oracle, JIRA, and Qlikview
3. Ability to learn quickly, prioritize workload, manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy, and perform well with minimal direct supervision
4. Excellent judgment and respect for confidentiality
5. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and peer-to-peer interaction skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration Required
Will consider recent college grad with prior internship experience in Corporate Legal, Compliance, or Accounting departments.
