Pay Rate: up to $28.00/hr on W2 (OT past 40 hours = $42.00/hr)
Job Description:
This job has two areas of focus:
1. Issues Management (80%+ at first then transitioning to include MCA related functions, see below):
- Critical member of team that coordinates the closure process for Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and maintains the BUSA MCA control framework to safeguard the enterprise throughout the wind down environment. Responsibilities include:
- Perform QA review of CAP closure documents to affirm that resolved items are being properly supported by closure evidence provided, that there is evidence of sustainability (process/control can be executed over time) and that documentation is clear and conforms to Internal Audit (IA) submission requirements.
- Manage queue of assigned QA items as they progress through the QA process, including ongoing resolution of questions and satisfaction of additional IA requests.
- Support and strive to improve IA interaction, BUSA controls communications, and recordkeeping.
- Establish strong working relationships across BUSA businesses and within the team.
- 2. Manager's Control Assessment (MCA):
- The MCA Analyst assists the MCA Coordinator in the reviews of MCA documents (risk matrices, test documents, corrective action plans, etc.).
- Administers updates to the CitiRisk system for business control assessments, testing approach and findings, and other items in support of the overall MCA framework and program requirements
- Assists the MCA Senior Analyst and MCA Coordinator in the review of the MCA documents for completeness/accuracy, efficiency/effectiveness, review and compilation of the quarterly test results for the MCA Facilitated Session.
- Assists in the management and implementation of BUSA's MCA Program. Provides consulting services to business managers in the identification and documentation of their business processes, related risks and controls, and development of a comprehensive test program to validate effectiveness of the internal controls framework.
- Comfortable with data entry tasks to assure updates to corporate systems.
- Experience with data manipulation and analysis using Excel then presenting those findings to a variety of audiences (including seniors).
Qualifications:
- Experience in audit / regulatory examination environments preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with using Excel for analytics and reporting purposes, including data manipulation in order to answer targeted questions from Senior Management, Audit, and regulators.
- Ability to work in a constantly changing environment with moving priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to provide concise, accurate, and reliable information to team members.
- Knowledge of bank regulatory requirements, financial products and internal control systems a plus.
- Good operational process understanding is essential.
- Specific experience working in compliance, internal controls, or audit role for financial institutions preferred.
Education:
High School or GED Required
