Senior Research Associate Contractor

Currently I have an opening for a ­­Senior Research Associate located in Cambridge, MA. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

• The candidate will gain experience interrogating cellular and molecular mechanisms as they relate to kinase target pathway modulation, off-target liabilities, and resistance. 
• The candidate’s primary role will be lab based and include cellular assays to support drug discovery efforts. 
• This position offers the opportunity to impact a growing portfolio of targeted therapies in a fast-paced and innovative research environment.
• Independently conduct, optimize, and proactively troubleshoot cellular screening assays.
• Run cellular assays to screen small molecules in support of drug discovery efforts.
• Employ cellular and molecular techniques such as Western blotting, qPCR, ELISA, and flow cytometry to support mechanism of action studies.
• Analyze and record detailed experimental data in an electronic laboratory notebook in a timely manner.
• Bachelors or master's graduate with experience in assay development, mammalian cell culture, and any high throughput screening.

Technical Information:

• Pay: $50-$58.00 hourly
• Onsite, M-F, 8am-5pm
• 6-month contract with potential for extension or conversion to permanent
