The Role

We are looking for an energetic and passionate Training and Communication Coordinator to join our team in Portsmouth, NH/Hybrid.

Any work samples demonstrating proficiency with Adobe InDesign and other layout software such as PowerPoint, Pendo, etc. and writing samples (i.e. project descriptions, employee bios, proposal cover letters, etc.) are strongly preferred and encouraged (Not Required).

The Training and Communication Coordinator will be a driving force in designing, developing, and delivering engaging training for the Paymode-X and Nexus organization at Bottomline. This role will serve as a key liaison with our Client and Vendor Success, Channel Relationship, Product, and Operational teams ensuring smooth execution of internal and customer communications. The ideal candidate is a dynamic individual passionate about fostering employee growth and development through innovative training solutions and compelling communication strategies. The position requires a self-starter who can contribute creatively to the team while also being able to manage tasks well and maintain close attention to detail. 

 

How you’ll contribute

  • Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to help design, develop, and deliver engaging technical and non-technical training programs that meet the diverse needs of employees. 
  • Create and maintain high-quality training content/libraries in various formats, including presentations, videos, and e-learning modules. 
  • Curate and maintain a comprehensive library of answers to common questions for internal and external customers 
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to properly distribute trainings to various platforms. 
  • Research and evaluate external training options, including demos, pricing, and availability. 
  • Serve as a communications liaison on the incident management process 
  • Support the primary communication channels: internal channels and updates to documentation of communication processes 
  • Research, write, edit, produce, and distribute a wide variety of communications that inform and engage customers. 
  • Analyzes and interprets email campaign performance, and leverages insights to make directive, proactive recommendations related to email strategy and programs. 
  • Support a high volume of communication initiatives at the same time, meeting tight deadlines, working under pressure, and with an eye for detail. 
  • Work collaboratively across the company to plan and support customer and internal communications. 
  • Participate in special projects as needed. 
  • Stay abreast of the latest internal communications channels and feedback loops and identify new opportunities to enhance the communication processes. 

 

If you have the attributes, skills, and experience listed below, we want to hear from you!

  • 2+ years of experience in Training Coordination, Instructional Design, Communications, or a related field. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, SharePoint, HTML, CSS, and common EMA and e-learning authoring tools. 
  • Strong experience with documentation, customer support, or implementations of technical products 
  • Any experience creating training materials with Pendo is a PLUS
  • Experience with learning management systems and video editing software (e.g., Vimeo, Adobe) 
  • Maintain the flexibility or ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and efficiently master new information and tasks 
  • Excellent teamwork capabilities with a focus on effective communication and collaborative problem-solving. 
  • Strong team player with effective communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical specialization or communication
