As the Senior Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager, based at our Fulfilment Centre in Keysborough (VIC 3175), you'll be responsible for ensuring adherence to food safety and quality regulations and standards across the Australian Marley Spoon and Chefgood businesses. This role requires strategic leadership in developing and implementing comprehensive food safety and quality policies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and driving cross-functional collaboration to enhance the overall customer experience.

Your role:

• Develop and implement comprehensive food safety and quality policies aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Provide guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in processes.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and stay abreast of emerging trends, regulations, and technologies.
• Monitor and report food safety or quality risks to the COO/CFO and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant food safety regulations, standards, and certifications (e.g., HACCP, SQF).
• Establish and oversee quality assurance programs throughout the supply chain.
• Analyse quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Foster collaboration among teams and integrate food safety and quality considerations into processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
• Tertiary qualifications in Food Technology, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in food safety management systems and quality assurance.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across teams.
• Willingness to work hands-on to ensure the highest standards for our Chefgood brand while taking a leadership role within the wider Marley Spoon Australia group
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions within a short time frame.
• High level of integrity and accountability.
