APPEARANCE AND GROOMING
The Hospital recognizes that the patients perception of the care he/she receives is often contingent upon his/her impression of the caregiver. An employees professional appearance may serve as a symbol of quality care to the public. Most of our patients are elderly and have certain expectations of their caregivers and staff and we want to ensure they are comfortable with their caregivers. Discretion in style of dress and behavior is essential to the effective and safe operation of the Hospital. Each department may develop specific requirement of dress or grooming (approved through HR), as is most appropriate for the nature of the service provided by the department.
