Project/Delivery Lead
Location: Detroit, MI
Duration: 5 months
Accountable for and manages the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of project(s) from planning to implementation with scope and deliverables that may impact multiple business unit/function or business critical program.
Project scope impacts one or more of the followings:
- Process, system, function, product and/or service. Project span across enterprise. Aligns with enterprise initiatives, multifaceted and strategy.
- Monitor progress, produce project status reports, timelines, budget reports, project metrics.
- Plan projects, including the concept, design, planning, project scope, cost and benefits, testing, acceptance, implementation and post-implementation review of project deliverables.
- Leads cross functional teams comprised of various internal customers and vendor resources. Provide assistance and mentor staff on project management related issues.
Generally operating in a strategic capacity, works with line management to evaluate existing systems and/or end-user needs to design, recommend, and assist in the implementation of complex system changes. Familiar with a broad range of healthcare-related business and/or IT concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Creates value for an organization through the application of knowledge, techniques, and assets to improve business performance. May involve providing objective appraisals where it is often easier for an expert outsider to see the broader picture. Typically required to summarize and present findings to audiences of various organizational levels. Bachelor's degree is not required but expected. At least 5-7 years of experience in business and/or IT consulting roles preferred.
