Production Scheduler
Location: Peoria, IL/Remote
Duration: 12 months
Description:
Plans and schedules and ensures materials are in on time for manufacturing processes of all current production. Will receive purchase orders, follow up with suppliers, interface with leadership/management internally and with external partners. Will schedule requirements for material with regard to the production system. Will work together with a small Production Scheduling team. Will focus on supporting 3 major/primary customers. Will interact with Cost Management Department, Manufacturing, Engineers and other Schedulers. Very fast paced environment.
- Update releases from customers (Wabtec, Hardinger, Cummins)
- Process receipts, review promise dates, process defects/reworks, load quotes
- Additional notes about this role: The job can be monotonous. There is a lot to learn
Required Skills:
- 3+ years Production Scheduling experience for manufacturing
- Strong Word and Excel experience (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
- Beneficial: BAAN
