This position is a primarily remote position only going onsite for meetings once every month or so located in ­­Marlborough, MA. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

  • The incumbent will initiate and process contracts and POs, inclusive of Master Service Agreements, Master Laboratory Services Agreements, Statements of Work, CDAs, Consulting Agreement and Speaker Agreements. This will be a department wide responsibility and will involve significant interaction within both Finance, Procurement and Legal groups to negotiate agreements, identify funding, track spend within cost centers and manage contract flow. In addition to managing internal customer needs, the PC will also have an external focus, interacting with vendors, consultants, speakers and other bodies to execute agreements in timely manner. Initiate and process contracts and POs, inclusive of: Master Service Agreements, Master Laboratory Services Agreements, Statements of Work, CDAs, Consulting Agreement and Speaker Agreements. Work with Finance, Procurement, Legal, as well as with external bodies as necessary. Budgets accruals/procurement working with Finance/Procurement to track and help identify needs within T&Q. Track budget variance. Expected to play a role in reforecasting across assigned cost centers and be able to communicate to management. Lead small projects under supervision. Provide assistance to project leads/owners in T&Q on project deliverables including Smartsheet or other project management tools as well as PowerPoint, Excel and Visio. Prepare and communicate project status updates and reports. Records retention activities including: management of documents, storage/transfer/destruction of off-site and/or archived materials in a scheduled manner to control and reduce costs and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Pay rate $26-31
  • Understanding of contract management cost center/PO management
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry within a Technical Operations group
  • Ability to interact with external parties
  • Working knowledge of budgets that can be applied on a larger, project scale
  • MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
