Job Description: 100% Onsite / Secret Required to Start Leads others in the development of standard test methods and processes and applies advanced test technologies to create or improve test methods. Writes invention disclosures to protect Intellectual Property. Prepares R&D proposals and presents to internal management and external customer. Applies emerging industry technologies to develop test procedures. Reviews critical procedures to identify potential problems and resolve issues. Develops innovative metrology design techniques, processes, methods, or concepts. Oversees the integration of new design and manufacturing techniques into test hardware/system designs. Analyzes processes for potential improvements and recommends associated changes. Develops the standard policies for post-test activity. Resolves or oversees resolution of special test procedures. Works with the enterprise test and engineering group to standardize evaluation techniques. Formulates expectations for test data for new or unique tests. Trains and coaches others. Works under consultative direction.
The selected candidate will be responsible for leading program/project activities. The person in this position must have the ability to gather requirements for complex projects and apply knowledge of policies, procedures, regulations and standard best practices to deliver results on schedule. The person will have demonstrated very strong oral and written communication skills to interface with customers, IPTs, program management, suppliers, stakeholders, and test value streams. Act as the single focal for test activities and be a primary link between program management, stakeholders, and value streams and capabilities to support test development and test execution. Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM), Earned Value Management; and Risk/Issue/Opportunity Management.
Requirements: 14+ years of experience.
Bachelor's Degree
Education / Experience: Bachelor's degree with 14 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 12 or more years' experience or PhD with 9 or more years' experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
