Job Description: Active Secret Clearance // 100% Onsite // 8am-5pm The PTES program is developing a new Global Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM) Ground System that will manage transmission of protected tactical waveform - a type of secure, anti-jam communication - over Client-built Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) satellites and terminals.
As a member of the team, you will be involved in the entire development life cycle, from idea creation and development, all the way through to maintenance and support of the customer's delivered system. Researches, analyzes, and compiles complex technical data for company products and system-level concepts in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle. Applies complex systems engineering processes, methodologies and tools to the design of system of systems, systems and new product development. Derives and develops complex architectures, functional requirements, refinements and product designs. Assists in the integration of technical, cost, value, risks and specialty engineering considerations into definition of the product. Interfaces with other members of the project or program teams, management, sales and marketing staff, customers and suppliers to meet group, organization and company objectives. Performs technical planning and control; maintains and improves processes and software tools. Oversees training, leads and mentors others. Works under minimal direction.
Education/Experience: Technical bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematics, scientific or information technology field of study.
Ability to pass Background and Drug Screen if Required by Client. •
