Job Description: General Summary - Emulation Infrastructure Support Technician
Qualcomm's Emulation Team is part of the central SoC digital hardware organization responsible for the overall quality of the SoC. The Emulation team works closely with architects, designers, verification engineers, software engineers, and customers.
The individual in this role will be supporting the emulation engineers in this department. The position shall start within next 30 days.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities -Daily support of custom hardware/server configuration, development of scripts/programs to automatically resolve issues.
IT Core Competencies - Basic hardware knowledge (compatibility between computer component), Python or Perl experience, basic software and hardware troubleshooting skills
Minimum Qualifications - proficient in Python, able to navigate Linux, advanced Windows experience
Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with different hardware debugging devices, basic understanding of computer networks, knowledge of NFS, Linux administration
Physical Requirements - able to lift 20lbs
