Mechanical Technician

• Employees key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, mechanical maintenance and repair of all equipment in the plant.
• Responsible for the mechanical maintenance and repair of all motorized vehicles and equipment in the plant.

• Although specific components of job demands are listed in detail in this document, the following information is a synopsis of key minimum physical demand requirements determined from a detailed job analysis:
• Postural: Employee must have the ability to move extremities and spine throughout a sufficient range of motion that will permit the employee to work in a variety of postures involving a range from floor to crown level.
• Dexterity: Employee must have good dexterity and frequently use one and two hands throughout the shift for grasping small parts and using computers to inventory items.
• Cardiorespiratory Demand: Average to above average demands are placed on the cardiorespiratory system from energy expenditure required during\ stock retrieval activities.
• There are no significant endurance cycles during the work shift.
• Material Handling - Employee must be able to demonstrate that they can safely:
• Due to the nature of the job the candidate should be able to lift 25 - 50 pounds with assistance from floor to waist level on an occasional basis.
